Alexander Aksakov, a freelance documentary photographer and photojournalist, was born in Pechora (Komi Republic, USSR) in 1986.

Education:
• Syktyvkar State University / Marketing (2004-2009)
• St. Petersburg Photofaculty in the name of Galperin / Photojournalism (2011-2013)

Alexander’s work has been published in different US and European magazines and newspapers. He’s a participant of a number of group exhibitions and festivals in Russia, USA and Europe. Aksakov is based in Mobile, Al. He is now working on a personal long term documentary project Diffelarities.
